Duplex Steel Forged Flanges consist mainly of chromium (21–23%), nickel (4.5–6.5%), and molybdenum (2.5–3.5%) and have the dual-phase microstructure ferrite and austenite. They offer impeccable resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion, and stress corrosion cracking. The tensile strength of these flanges ranges from 620 to 850 MPa, and their yield strength varies between 450 and 550 MPa, depending on the grade. Moreover, the Duplex Steel Forged Flanges are very tough, can be easily welded, and, at the same time, are mechanically stable even when subjected to very high and low temperatures and pressures.
